Day 2 of FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week showcases a collection that is inspired from the 18th and 19th century bards dressed in fine silks and embroidered woolens.
Aisha’s garments, infused with a mix of fine tissue, organza, tulle and raw silk, saw a wide range of ethnic outfits. With a heavy focus on techniques such as applique, aari and zardosi, amongst others, this collection shows the designer’s individual interpretation of an old-school idea.
