Anavila Misra, a designer, has been selected as the opening designer for the upcoming edition of Lakmé Fashion Week in collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI).
Her “Dabu” collection will be showcased, which will kickstart the “Atelier” space featuring various experimental presentations and shows. Misra commented on her showcase, stating that her collection focuses on creating beauty using mud, highlighting the relationship between art, artisans, humans, and the earth. She expressed her excitement to showcase her designs on a prestigious platform like Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI.
The Jio Gardens in Mumbai will be hosting the Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI from March 9-12 as per the schedule.
