This season, Prada will return to the Milanese catwalks, but in an unprecedented style, performing twin presentations on opposite sides of the globe. On Friday, September 24, the Italian luxury label has booked two simultaneous catwalk shows in Milan and Shanghai to display its Spring/Summer 2022 womenswear collection, designed by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons.
The shows will take place at the same time in Italy, at 3 p.m. CET, and in China, at 9 p.m. local time. The looks will be the identical on both continents, but the models and settings will be “complementary,” according to Prada, in order to show “the same vision from two perspectives.”
The ‘Synchronic Views’ event, according to Prada, is “a celebration of both the uniqueness of the catwalk experience and the potential of technology to transcend borders and unify people.” A celebration of style and camaraderie.”
