Using regenerated fabrics such as Tencel, Cupro, Bemberg, and recycled polyester, Mumbai-based label Advait by Advaitha Ravishankar makes a colourful point. The designer paints the artworks himself, and then digitally prints them onto cotton that is made by local weaving clusters, using non-toxic AZO-free dyes. The Spring 2022 collection is inspired by actor Emily Cooper and 18th century cutlery at the V&A Museum, London, and is a celebration of the colours of life.
